We didn't design the ".codex" folder to be shared across machines, but I can't think of any reason why this shouldn't work. I'm not sure I understand your second question. You mentioned "it says sandbox mode read-only". What is saying that? Are you seeing this in the |

Is it a valid approach to backup my .codex folder with google drive or onedrive so everything is copied bidirectionally when using 2 PCs (not at the same time)?
Also... with experimental_windows_sandbox = true telling the agent to commit throws lock error. With it off the agent does the commit no error...
In addition though, with experimental_windows_sandbox = true it says sandbox mode read-only for some reason but it does agentic tasks like editing etc... [my toml file is set to workspace-write and never].. Is something wrong here?
