These Debian packages which I'm building with OBS produce .debs which do not contain the build/release number. This means that there'll always be a trojita-0.4.1.dsc even after I change something in the .dsc file, and that means that it's extremely easy for the mirrors to go out-of-sync. This is what users report right now about Trojita packaging.

  1. the tricky part is if the dsc file is signed we cant just modify it
  2. but on the other hand we really need the same release number handling we have for rpms. otherwise using mirrorbrain with debian packages is pita.
