Custom TextMapPropagator doesn't set the value inside span

Hi, in this example I've add a custom propagator inside a CompositePropagator for a nodejs instrumentation, I would have expected the header at each trace but I don't see it, are there other configurations to add besides propagator?
I wanted to do something similar to W3Propagator for the traceid, any advice?
