example3.go is a minimal gpsd client program written in Go.

go.mod is a bookeeping file that the Go compiler uses.
It declares the two requirements for example3.go:

1. The Golang compiler version
2. The gpsd Go package

The vendor directory contains the gpsd Go package in vendor/gpsd/gpsd.go

To run example3.go, change to this directory and run:

    $ go run .

To build the binary example3, change to this directory and run:

    $ go build .
