Novo is an implementation of a node for the Novo network and is one of the pieces of software that provide the backbone of the network. It downloads and stores the entire history of Novo transactions; depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a hour or more.
To download Novo, visit novo.org.
Novo is only supported on the Linux and docker platforms at this time.
To run Novo on Linux:
- unpack the files into a directory
- run
bin/novod
- Log an issue on [GitHub] (https://github.com/novochain/novo/issues)
- Ask for help on the Novo Forum.
- Consult Novo Wiki for information about Novo protocol.
