Description
Version
v22.14.0
Platform
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19045.0 x64
Subsystem
No response
What steps will reproduce the bug?
- open terminal/cmd
- type
node - type
while(1)conso - watch node freeze
How often does it reproduce? Is there a required condition?
yes there is a required condition, input the specific text while(1)conso. it hasn't happened to me with different text input
What is the expected behavior? Why is that the expected behavior?
It shouldn't freeze and be un-exitable (Ctrl + C / Ctrl + D does nothing) just because you inputted bad code (or ever tbh)
What do you see instead?
i see node freeze and not accept input
Additional information
i just reinstalled node so its not a problem with my copy, also it happened on a previous version (v22.12.0). Also i just restarted and it didnt fix. Also just tested on linux debian arm and amd, and the freeze did not ocurr on v18.19.0 (thats the latest for debian apt)
