Specify NPM Version

Is it possible to change the version of NPM? e.g. to downgrade to a previous version, rather than using the one that comes with the image.

It's the same way you'd do it on your normal machine https://docs.npmjs.com/downloading-and-installing-node-js-and-npm
npm i -g npm@whateverversion

Appreciate the input. Weirdly, when I try to run npm i -g npm@6.14.18 inside the container (Node 18), it doesn't seem to change the output of npm -v. I've tried running as root, and the app user, but no luck.
