Public participation

We stream our conference call straight to YouTube so anyone can listen to it live, it should start playing at https://www.youtube.com/c/nodejs+foundation/live when we turn it on. There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to before we can start recording & streaming. So be patient and it should show up.

Many of us will be on IRC in #node-dev on Freenode if you'd like to interact, we have a Q/A session scheduled at the end of the meeting if you'd like us to discuss anything in particular. @nodejs/collaborators in particular if there's anything you need from the TSC that's not worth putting on as a separate agenda item, this is a good place for that.

There's a potentially ecosystem-impacting breaking change on the current v15rc: nodejs/node#35014 (comment), we should discuss is on this week's meeting or in a issue if we think that's faster.

FYI I removed both issue and PR related to unhandled rejections from the agenda since we already reached a decision and there's nothing left to be discussed in the meeting. We should announce the vote results in the announcements section though.

@mhdawson would it be possible to get #923 included on the agenda and inclusion as an observer / invited participant for the meeting? I certainly understand if it is tricky at this late notice too.

@guybedford sorry I did not check in on the issue as I was in back to back meetings up to the meeting time. I'd suggest you send an email to tsc@iojs.org to get the discussion going since it sounds like it is time sensitive

@mmarchini I added the tsc-agenda tag to nodejs/node#35014 (comment), so that we cover it next week as we did not cover this time. If we think it needs to be discuss before next week's meeting I'd suggest sending an email to the tsc mailing list to get more discussion going.
