The new EDGE is so great, espesially in my country!
The uBlock is also great, chould you please spend some time to update it to latest version!

Go to edge://extensions and enable Allow extensions from other stores (bottom left) and you can install uBlock Origin from the Chrome Web Store. I've been using it for a while and it works just fine.
