yamaha-yxc-nodejs has been added but only does :

  • either no discovery when an IP address is given
  • or automatic discovery via a SSDP call but ignoring the 'IP' parameter then, and not adequate when several Yamaha devices are on the same network (it only returns the first one found)

From yamaha-yxc-nodejs : "If the IP is omitted in the constructor, the module will try to discover the yamaha ip via a SSDP call."

See if the latest version of library now does it
