The goal is to add system.memory.utilization to the OTel hostmetricsreceiver and golden metrics definition for memory utilization.

  • Review current agent solution for memory (i.e. pkg/metrics/memory_linux.go) and see if there is any "standard"/convention about this concept
  • Add system.memory.utilization to hostmetricsreceiver
  • Add golden metrics definition for memory utilization
  • sign CLA as individual contributor after doing the PR
  • add yourself to gitdm to track contributions from companies (example) (it's alphabetically ordered)
