Upgrade from v3.7 to v4.0: SSO pipeline object permission initializer.

I'm a bit lost right now,
It looks like a lot of things have changed for the Object permissions.

Up until v3.7 this part of my SSO pipeline works:

        object_permission.save()

Basically just matching the groups that we have in Azure with a predefined set of permissions.
The main goal is to assign roles or permissions to any type of group that we may create on Azure.

on v4.0, I started getting the following error:

TypeError: Field 'id' expected a number but got <ContentType: logentry>.  

What are we supposed to check here?
Or do we have a better way of doing this now?
