Hi,
I'm using multiple firefox profiles with each profile using different bookmarks and extensions. I wanted to copy an existing firefox profile into a private folder and then have firejail discard any modification on exit.
Example: firejail --private-home=~/private firefox -P default
My intention in this case is to take the default firefox profile and copy it into ~/private and then have firejail delete any modifications on exit. However firefox in this case just starts with a clean profile, no bookmarks or extensions. I've tried to copy the profile into ~/private and then add another extension but on exit the new extension does not get deleted. Here the command I used:
firejail --seccomp --caps.drop=all --netfilter=/etc/firejail/nolocal.net --private=~/private --profile=/etc/firejail/firefox.local.bak firefox
(firefox.local.bak is a slightly modified version of firefox.local).
I'm not sure if what I'm trying to accomplish is even possible and if so what the correct command would be? Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks.
