Hardware v2 calibration

This guide does not cover intrinsic (optical) camera, or projector calibration, it is for extrinsic purposes (relative to each other).

Important: if you are changing or modifying your hardware: go back installation step

If you are moving or reorienting the components you already have, please follow the instructions in this guide.

Launch the Calibration/ProCamKinectCalib example and then press c to start the calibration process. Your screen will go black, and the projector will show only its four corners.

1. Press 'c', and set the corners of the projection using mouse and arrows. Press "validate" and "save" buttons.

2. Place the calibration board

(A4-calib.svg).

3. Take 3 ~ 6 poses with the 'a' key.

Then press the "calibrate procam" button

4. Test your calibration by pressing escape and replace the standard board (A3-small1.svg).
