There are previous reports of this hub not supporting VBus control e.g. #319. So, it it not listed as supported for a reason. I recommend finding hub that is listed in current supported table. |

I'm using a Mac mini. This Hub is recognized by uhubctl, and I have also checked the "lsusb -v" command and confirmed that it has "Per-port power switching". Problem is that once I turn off a port, data transfer is stopped but the phone connected to it still charges. Since I am connected to a USB3 upstream port, and have 2 hubs showing (2.0 and 3.0, the duality) I verified that both were turned off, and even bought a M/F usb 2.0 cable, to insert between the hub and pc, effectively making only 7 usb 2.0 ports appear. Still, it won't turn off the power and the phone keeps charging. Any suggestions?
