Cannot read firstChild of undefined

Issue occurs when multiple instances of React are loaded at once:

facebook/react#2402

As it stands, will not allow for local website build to work (clicking is unresponsive).

Is there a permanent solution to this issue? I just installed the generator, and encountered "firstChild of undefined".
