My coworker was showing me how to make pole figure plots from xrd data but when I did it on my computer, the results were noticeably different. I copy/pasted their code exactly and only changed the file location for the data, but the data was sent over to me directly and should be the same.
The figure directly plotting the pole figure data is the same but data using the odf calculation is different.
The only difference is the Mtex version. They used 6.0.beta2 while I used 5.11.2 but I can't see anything in the change logs about changing the odf calculations. Should there be a difference?

Here is a pdf with the outputs. In the output slides (slide 3 for my data, slide 6 for co-worker's data) I include plots with auto climit (larger) and also climit 1.5-4 (smaller) to keep it consistent across the two.
Can anyone explain the difference? Which one is more reliable?
