Compile MATLAB code unrelated to MTEX

Hi MTEX users,

I was compiling a MATLAB function into a standalone executable application unrelated to MTEX, and found some unexpected errors in mtex_startup when running the exe program.

It turns out that if MTEX is installed in MATLAB, the MATLAB startup script runs startup_mtex.m, which caused problems in applicationCompiler.

To temporarily disable MTEX:

1. Open MATLAB
2. Type 'edit startup' into the command window (startup.m is in your matlabroot folder, but you can do this from any folder)
3. Go to startup.m in the editor, comment out the line 'startup_mtex;' (for me this is line 9), save
4. Set a reminder to renable that line later after you finish with the compiler.

Hope this method is useful even if a bit messy.
