macOS 15.4 Sequoia

Re-fixed _polynomial issue and test failures on Windows.

Updated to macOS 15.4 Sequoia for building and testing.

Tested on Apple-Si M4, Intel i7 and Intel-emulation.

Some internal, mostly cosmetic changes.
