support for Typescript is Completely SHIT!!!!

i have been tryning to fix this shitty fucking import error for like 2 hours and after frustration i have to open a discussion. all because there doesn't exists types for the worker import

so i am basiccaly tryning to load a pdf from client side script in an .astro page

but this shitty error

Cannot find module 'pdfjs-dist/build/pdf.worker.entry' or its corresponding type declarations. ts (2307) [51, 23]

tried all the AI Slop advice, like mannually decalring type declation in a pdfjs-worker.d.ts
I Blame it all on the shitty half ass types implementation of this Library!

If this library is so shitty, please don't use it and stop complaining.
The goal of pdf.js is to be the pdf viewer in Firefox, nothing else.
Why do you think my company (Mozilla) will pay me to work on the ts stuff ?
Why do you think the contributors who work on their spare time (I'm one of them too) should work for free on something they don't care ?
If you think there are better products which fit your needs, feel free to use them.
We had in the past some issues with typescript and you know what, we tried to fix them and we spent/wasted some time on that stuff.
From time to time, some people make a PR to add some ts stuff, but when it's broken, we don't have anybody with the skills to fix them so we try to do it ourselves. And sometime we don't manage to fix those issues.
So if you're able to fix those issues, please propose a PR and we'll see if we want to merge it: merging mainly depends on our capacity to maintain it.
If you aren't able to, you can pay someone else to do it.
If you aren't able to, why are you complaining we aren't either ?

Pdf.js is free, open-source and far from being perfect, you've to take it like this.
So please don't be rude and maybe some people with the right skills will be able to help you.
