I don't want to give this integration access to my main Gmail account, handling forwarded emails

So I've create a new email account that is only used for this. My main account has filters to forward all emails from ups tracking etc to my new email address. Trouble is, the emails are showing up from my originating email address, and mail and packages isn't picking up the emails. How do I work around this?
