The problem is that Users are confused about how voting is counted.

In the places where the user is confused, we include links that go back to the FAQ - where a description of how each voting mechanism works is included.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Other solutions considered:
Tooltips with info about how each strategy works.
Text under each (strategy) option to clarify the effects of actions
