Current Behavior

When I try to type in Chinese using the Microsoft Bopomofo input method, I can successfully type the first word, but not the second one because pressing the space bar doesn't do anything.

Screen.Recording.2024-10-20.162124.-.Trim.mp4

Expected Behavior

I type the first word, press space and move on to the next word.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. set the language and input method to Chinese Traditional, Microsoft Bopomofo
  2. type the first word and press space
  3. you'll realize you can't.

Environment

  • OS: Windows 11 24H2 26120.1930
  • Browser: Microsoft Edge
  • Browser Version: 130.0.2849.35 (Official build) beta (64-bit)

Anything else?

It works only when I use Firefox
