A small update - if you copy the macro code from my example above and save it to the normal.dotm file, then it will be available to any Word doc So no need to allow .docm files to be the template! |

Hi @glattin , that's a great idea, didn't think of this use case before. Another workaround in the meantime would be:
My new code will take care of the above |

Honestly, this is an amazing product, one that I had looked for for over a year
But (there is always a but) for full documentation, the GUID of a SharePoint list or library doesnt quite cut it, I mean I like GUIDs as much as the next person, but ....
Wouldnt it be good to see the list or library name?
I thought about digging into the code for the project to see what I could do, nope
So I thought about an outboard solution - GUIDs are unique right, a find/replace would do it with no risk to updating the wrong thing. So I set about creating a Flow that would generate the GUIDs for all lists in a site, along with their names and types.
I then created a macro in a Word doc to read the file of GUIDs and names and then do a find/replace on them. The vba was stitched together from a whole lot of samples found out there on the net (thanks one and all).
Attached are the Word doc with the macro (FixupGuids) (zipped) and the Flow definition
DocumentAllListsOnSites.zip
PowerDocu-Macro Template.zip
Please please please allow a .docm file to be a template, only .docx files are selectable currently. This means the doc contents have to be copied to the macro-enabled document to process.
If you inspect the macro code, youll see I plan to improve how the details are shown (as an embedded table) but the simple replace with 3 lines of text is enough for one night
