Discussion to model electrical power systems. Rüdiger Franke presented the library PowerFlow. Discussion about the differences between PowerFlow, SPOT and Modelica.Electrical. It is planned to work on a unified concept/connector design at the next (64th) design meeting based on experience with PowerFlow and SPOT.

I just wanted to clarify: We are not going to change the connectors of Electrical.Analog, Electrical.Machines, Electrical.MultiPhase because this isn't backwards compatible and would break a lot of user models as well as free and commercial libraries (like SmartElectricDrives).

Additionally it is important to note that the simple connector designs of the Electrical.Analog and the Electrical.MultiPhase library are very clear to beginners. Since Modelica also claims to have an educational and didactic value it is important to have such a clear concept as it is currently used.
