🌟 The Future of NG Extension Manager is Bright – Let’s Build It Together! 🌟
Hey NGEM Community,
We’re Nitra Global, the creators of NG Extension Manager (NGEM) – an open-source Chrome extension that’s all about making your browser life easier, smarter, and more secure.
But here’s the thing: we need your help to take NGEM to the next level.
🎯 Our Dream Roadmap:
We’ve got big ideas, but they’re only possible with your feedback, creativity, and collaboration. Here’s a glimpse of what we’re dreaming up:
1. Optional Permissions
Imagine full flexibility! We’re planning to implement all the features from Chrome’s
permissionsAPI (except ChromeOS-specific ones) so you can control exactly what NGEM can do.2. Categorization + Grid Layout
Extensions are currently listed in a simple 10-item scrollable list. What if you could organize your extensions into custom categories? Or switch to a modern grid layout for a sleek, visual overview?
This is high on our priority list. What’s your favorite idea?
3. Make It Yours – Customization Options
4. Plugins & Integrations
Imagine a world where you could supercharge NGEM with plugins. Developers, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to create and share plugins – and for users to install them securely.
✨ Quick reminder: Only download plugins from the official GitHub repository to stay safe!
5. Developer Tab in Extension Details
For the power users: a new “Developer” tab to show extra technical details, like optional permissions. It’s perfect for debugging or learning more about how your extensions work.
💡 We Want Your Ideas!
What do you think? What’s missing from this list? Share your ideas, vote on features, or just tell us what you love (or don’t) about NGEM.
🚀 How to Help
Open-source thrives on collaboration. Here’s how you can pitch in:
