No, I'm trying to use LuaJIT and need to more or less precompile Lua code into bytecode chunks for reuse. I could make it fit into a function call, but it's not a great candidate for that. |

Hey there! Apparently, you can't call functions across different states - but is it possible for me to precompile some Lua code into bytecode that can be executed in any arbitrary state? This is a key feature for what I am attempting to build.
