As a user of the ATT&CK website, I want to be able to bookmark/save the current version of a page so so that future updates/revisions won't affect my view.

  • Always preserve the current version of the site under the current content version (e.g v6). See Use version numbers instead of names with previous versions #174 for version-numbered previous-version guidance. This would not be a preserved version on attack-archives, since each update to the code (and minor content revisions) would need to replace this static version.
  • On each page provide a version permalink button which would take the user to the pre-preserved version of that page.
  • Also provide a link on the previous versions page to the entire "current version" site.

In other words, attack.mitre.org/techniques/T1001 is a clone of attack.mitre.org/v6/techniques/T1001, and a “version permalink” hyperlink on /techniques/T1001 would lead to /v6/techniques/T1001 while v6.x is the current version.
