Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.69.2
  • OS Version: macOS 13 b3

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open vscode
  2. you will get prompt to provide credentials for everything that needs it for example GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, Gitlens etc.
  3. Restart vscode
  4. Now you will get prompted to provide credentials again
