cant download phyton extention on VS code

when i want to instal phyton extention on VS code and i got "Error while installing 'Python' extension. Please check the log for more details." can someone help me with this? thank you

sudo apt install ./.deb

If you're on an older Linux distribution, you will need to run this instead:

sudo dpkg -i .deb

sudo apt-get install -f # Install dependencies
