vscode java debugger attach process take forever

Environment

• Operating System: Windows 10
• JDK version: 1.8.0_232
• Visual Studio Code version: 1.44.2
• Java extension version: 0.9.0
• Java Debugger extension version: 0.25.1

Steps To Reproduce

1. [step 1]
   Attach to a local jboss instance which has enabled dt_socket port
2. [step 2]
   The debugger takes forever.

Current Result

never returns

Expected Result

attached and start debug

Additional Informations

And nothing logged on language server log and debug console.

Occasionally, reboot vscode works.

Then where the log file goes?

there's nothing in language server log file even with setting "java.debug.logLevel": "verbose" .

The only log is from console of Developer: Toggle Developer Tools, and then nothing returns just hanging.

When the debugger attaches successfully, I get following good log in Developer Tools

When it's hanging, looks like the language server is in a bad state. If the language server is ready, there will be an icon 👍 in the right bottom corner.

The thumb up icon is actually ready. I suspect vscode event doesn't issue in the command to language server.

Looks like the command never returns. Besides, no log file is a little weird.
How often do you observe the hanging?

It's quite often in a one of may major projects. It seems more often when I use mvn install via bash. The project is a big one, so I disabled maven plugin. I'm using maven in bash directly.
