PHP and Visual studio code

is there a setting in Visual Studio Code that allows the program to recognize/check/better display PHP code?

Hi @Wolfsaul ,

The built extensions in VS Code provides a few settings you can play with, but none of them seems to be related to better display PHP code

So, I would suggest you to look for other extensions available in the marketplace (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/search?term=php&target=VSCode&category=All%20categories&sortBy=Relevance). I suppose you will find something that fits your needs.

BTW, for future questions about VS Code usage, please use Stack Overflow, as suggested by the VS Code team (https://github.com/microsoft/vscode#feedback). This discussions forum is intended for extension development only, for now.
