I have a question regarding vs code development process.
As I understand that, you have a monthly iteration and at end of it you release a new version of vs code editor to the user. In this monthly iteration, you have different development stages. This is the process how vs code development team is working. Since vs code is an open source project and it accept community contribution, I want to know how this iteration aligns with community contribution?
For example, at the start of the iteration you take 10 issues to work on, in that 3 issues are tagged with
help wanted. Now during the development process a developer from the community start working on it but he not able to complete it fully. Because a developer from the community may not be align with your iteration schedule. What happens on that time? Will you remove that issue from the current iteration and put in the next one? Or someone from the core development team will pick that up?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
