- Added JIT/CLRIE code coverage for full-trust packaged (MSIX) applications such as
WinUI 3 through
dotnet-coverage collect --app-id <AUMID>. See the packaged WinUI 3 sample. - Restored exclusion of compiler-generated branches used for method-group caching (microsoft/codecoverage#188).
- Added profiler compatibility for Ubuntu 26.04 (microsoft/codecoverage#224).
- Added code coverage summaries to standard output when running Microsoft Testing Platform test applications directly (microsoft/codecoverage#233).
- Added support for merging coverage from multiple Microsoft Testing Platform test applications into a single report (microsoft/codecoverage#234).
- Forwarded termination signals such as
SIGTERMto child processes launched bydotnet-coverage collect(microsoft/codecoverage#237). - Prevented intermittent Linux test-host access violations caused by coverage buffer mappings being invalidated while instrumented code is running (microsoft/codecoverage#238).
- Restored
dotnet-coverage --include-filesfiltering after the 18.11.0 regression (microsoft/codecoverage#244). - Handled abandoned reconciliation mutexes so passing test hosts no longer abort during shutdown (microsoft/codecoverage#245).
- Fixed empty Cobertura reports in CI builds that set
ContinuousIntegrationBuild=true(microsoft/codecoverage#221).
- Fixed empty Microsoft Testing Platform v2 coverage results for binaries built with
ContinuousIntegrationBuild=true(microsoft/codecoverage#198). - Restored incremental builds with .NET 11 when using the code coverage extension (microsoft/codecoverage#209).
- Corrected incomplete coverage results for C# records when auto-property skipping is disabled (microsoft/codecoverage#186).
