As a really hacky workaround, I'm currently using the following autohotkey script to get voice typing inside WSL GUI apps. The Win+V shortcut Is from puretext (Which one can download from the Microsoft store), and strips any encoding or formatting. |

I'm going to close the discussion as you can use following software inside WSL to dictate with these two adjusted settings: https://handy.computer/ Right click Handy Icon, Advanced, Paste Method "Clipboard (Shift+Insert)" and Parakeet model v2 (Parakeet v3 is slower). |

Good day,
I was wondering if it's possible to use Windows speech services (Windows Key + H) To interact with WSL GUI apps. I do recall that Nuance's Dragon Software is able to do this with no extra configuration. However when I try to use window speech services to dictate inside PGTK Emacs I get the message: Voice typing is not supported in remote applications.
Has anybody managed to make this work? Any help or information will be much appreciated. Thank you for your continued work on WSL.
