Keyboard Manager

Steps to reproduce

CONTEXT

I've switched over from Mac to Windows, and found Powertoys...which is making my transition so much easier.

One thing that has made it easier is the shortcut manager because I am able to remap keyboard shortcut modifier keys to better match what I'm used to on Mac. For example, putting the left Ctrl key next to the spacebar where the Alt key is on PCs.

Anyhow, these key remappings work. But then I tried remapping a shortcut, to make it easier to close an application. Basically I want the native Alt-F4 behavior (which closes the current active application window) when I press the following physical keys on the keyboard: LeftShift+LeftAlt+W.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Launch Powertoys, and enable Keyboard Manager

  2. Make the following mappings:

NOTE: I saw the note about key mappings having an effect on this, so this is why LeftAlt has been replaced with LeftCtrl.

  1. Press the following physical keys on the keyboard: LeftShift+LeftAlt+W to close the Powertoys application as a test

✔️ Expected Behavior

I would expect the Powertoys application window to close

❌ Actual Behavior

Nothing happens when I press the following physical keys on the keyboard: LeftShift+LeftAlt+W.

I also tried ignoring the key mappings but to no avail.

You are doing it the wrong way. The normal shortcut needs to be on the right, not the left.

Please retitle the ticket and include "Keyboard manager" in the name.
