AWS China operates independently from AWS Global.
There are two regions in AWS China: "cn-north-1" and "cn-northwest-1", both of them use separate API endpoint domain names: *.amazonaws.com.cn

In addition, the Hong Kong region "ap-southeast-1" belongs to AWS Global.
