LOTR Two Towers Multiplayer doesn't work #3321

After opening a new multiplayer window, when selecting "multiplayer" from main menu; the game freezes as if loading, and then reverts back to main menu (doesn't proceed to multiplayer menu. The Return of the King ROM works just fine. Wondering if anyone might have a solution or know what is wrong.
