Rafl: update-exim4.conf.conf to have dc_eximconfig_configtype='internet' not dc_eximconfig_configtype='local'

What still needs to be configured

root@metacpan-test1:/home/metacpan# /etc/init.d/metacpan-watcher start
.: 51: Can't open /etc/rc.status

Also, I don't think "status" is configured for any of the init scripts.
