Notification webhook for Checkout Pro test mode doesn't seem to be working?

I'm implementing Checkout Pro in my app and i haven't had a problem until i started to test the notification webhook. I'm trying in test mode and for now i've using a tunneled URL with Ngrok in order to test locally.

If i trigger the notification with the "simulate notification" button in the dashboard, it works perfectly. But if i actually attempt a purchase from my app, doing the whole flow from the beginning, the webhook never seems to execute. Any idea why?

I know some APIs don't allow or block ngrok, does it have something to do with this? i'd think it doesn't, since i've been triggering simulated notifications without any problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
