Before I installed This whenever I wanted to use a gesture in VRChat I sumply had to touch the touchpad for a brief second and the gesture/animation played.
Now ive installed this I have to keep my thumb on the touchpad for about 1 second and keep it there.
can someone please help me fix this?

This sounds like you've enabled the "advanced vive controls" in vrchat
