Starting from the master branch, ensure the docs PR is added to the v10.10-documentation branch. The doc updates focuses on clarifying that users can select and chat with remote users (available through a shared channel) in direct or group messages. Context: Prior to v10.10, remote users had to post in a shared channel first. It's not necessary to point out this context in the docs.

When creating the docs PR, assign the v10.10 milestone and add the Editor Review label.

I've successfully updated the Mattermost Product Documentation to reflect the v10.10 changes for remote user discovery in DM/GM modals.

• Update documentation for the new remote user discovery functionality

• source/collaborate/create-channels.rst: Added mentions in both web/desktop and mobile sections that remote users from shared channels are available to select when creating DM/GM
