Animated themes seem to be possible, but how?

An old discussion here shows video evidence that it's possible to display a smoothly animated background on a turing smart screen - but the link to that theme's files is dead, and I've been pulling my hair out looking for anything, anywhere, indicating a way to do it.

Does anyone know how to send animated images or video to these screens?
