Hi, does this project accept open source contributions?

Yes we do! There are a couple things to keep in mind right now though.

1. We don't have a contribution guide yet, so prepare for lots of unknowns.
2. We're short staffed, and reviewing 3P contributions takes time. It may be a slow review process for larger changes.

We recommend small and focused bug fix PRs! Those are the most helpful thing for us right now :)

Can I use it without Command line

Yes, there is not a command line interface. While we recommend using npm to install and build for large projects, you can use it directly in the browser with a CDN like esm.run:

You can use a CDN like https://esm.run/@material/web/all.js to serve or download a pre-bundled file.

You can also read our quick start building section and use tools like rollup to build your own bundle. We recommend this for production, since it lets you specify only the components you need.
