There's a crash in MaterialDatePicker in the latest stable 1.9.0 release
that has been fixed and this fix has been included in the latest 1.10.0-alpha03.
However that release has the compileSdkVersion set to the upcoming android-UpsideDownCake which we're unable to depend on just yet.
Is there any chance this crash-fix could be backported to the stable
1.9.0 release so that we can deploy a fix without needing to update
to the preview Sdk?

Now that 1.10.0-alpha04 has been published and uses compileSdkVersion 34, are you able to update your compileSdkVersion to 34 and use this latest release?
