Sorry, without logs I cannot really do anything. Double check your global and feed settings for network stuff like proxy server setting and/or OS firewall etc. |

I did double-check several times. I have cycled through all the various network configs, too, to check if it makes a difference, but it did not. Furthermore, I have to admit it that I don't fully grasp the network-settings. That said, I've never used a network proxy, and my Windows firewall settings equal that of QuiteRSS. These are screenshots of their current status: • • • • |

Thank you, @martinrotter With the log-dialogue open, and consequently right-clicking on a feed, this is the log-text. (Note that when fetching the feed, not further log content appeared): Log:

More logs only appear once I click on a feed — example log below. Fetching the feed does not add anything. Anything else I can check for you? `time=" 6.931" type="debug" -> CTRL is NOT pressed while sorting articles - sorting with standard mode. |

Yes, the green "Fetch All'. Otherwise, I also tried fetching using the feed context menu — Main Menu > "Feds"> "Fetch All" — or "Feed Ctrl+Shift+U". |

Can you please confirm that this what the portable folder installation should look like — ignoring the three folders preceded by the caret "^" sign? • • |

BTW: could the OPML-file somehow be the cause? Although the app confirmed the imported OPML as OK, there are numerous feeds that do not have the usual URL/feed make-up, i.e. the feeds are created to read the articles using filtered URL's. It is a long shot, since I have previously used the same feeds in other feed readers. |

The "Initial Feeds" — which I initially declined to use — do get fetched: |

@martinrotter, for your information, RSS Guard is operational. These are the steps I followed — using the same OPML-file: Steps

My RSS Guard issue boils down to this: [SOLVED] RSSGuard will not fetch any feeds · martinrotter/rssguard · Discussion #625
I am a first time user of RSS Guard, having been a long-time user of QuiteRSS.
RSS Guard (Lite), is currently installed as a portable version on a Windows 7x64 PC:
Installed: rssguard-4.6.6-6cf2717ed-lite-win7.7z
At first, I installed the regular portable version provided from RSS Guard Portable (RSS/ATOM feed reader) | PortableApps.com. I configured the app to taste, but removed it after it crashed consistently during the configuration process. Initially, though, RSS Guard would restart perfectly, instantly, when it had to when certain settings were changed — settings which demanded the restart by default.
After removing the regular version, I installed the Lite version of RSS Guard, and configured it. Then, I imported ca. 860 news feeds via OPML-file. This file was created and exported by a newsfeed reader, which resides on an Android 8 tablet. The "Import Feeds" window shows that "All feeds were successfully imported". However, I am perplexed by the fact that RSS Guard is not fetching feeds — not any, at all — whenever the command to do so, is executed. None. The log-file is empty, thus providing no clue.
Your guidance to fix this, is much appreciated.
Thank you.
