Kingo is a Google Zanzibar-inspired ReBAC authorization system, exploring relationship-based access control with schema-defined subject-set rewrite rules.
Kingo is a work in progress: the domain model and rewrite engine are under active design, and APIs, schemas, and storage formats change without notice.
The name is Swahili — plural of ukingo: edges, borders. The logo is a Swahili carved door, the emblem of the coast where Zanzibar is located. It is a symbol of access control.
