What would you like to be added?

I think you should update the documentation for the Obsidian plugin to indicate that the “Show tab title bar” option in the Appearance settings is required in order to use the Markwhen plugin correctly. I was not seeing the button bar to render Markwhen files, and normally I do not display the tab title bar in Obsidian. Once I tried enabling the tab title bar, the Markwhen buttons were visible.

Why is this needed?

Currently, this requirement isn’t noted in the documentation. Some users will not have the tab title bar enabled by default, and thus they’ll not be able to use Markwhen correctly and as intended.

I have this setting enabled but still don't understand how to see Markwhen in action. Any hints?

@sparfenyuk I added instructions to the README.md, let me know if that works

@kochrt Thanks! I eventually found the button, but initially, it wasn't clear since no guidance was provided. At first, I didn't realize there was a lock on the location. I expected to find plugin commands in the Command Palette and was also searching for a linked preview feature.

You might want to consider adopting a similar behavior to the Marp Slides plugin — it's a great example for inspiration.
