Combo Boxes introduced in version 0.62 was a bad idea

Combo Boxes introduced in version 0.62 decrease performance because require additional clicks and mouse movements to open menu. They also make items hidden and harder to find. Many apps changed UI to get rid of combo boxes structure, but NegPy done opposite :) What is the point in combo box list if it consists only of 2 items?
Why don't use normal buttons toggles same as in older versions? Or maybe use tabs? (see example)

Also those comboboxes are sensitive to scroll wheel. This is a little bit problematic. When i navigate up and down in global panel by mouse scroll wheel, sometimes mouse hover combobox and scroll items inside combobox.

But somehow i can understand your logic. You made all UI elements more unified and also UI looks a little bit cleaner because there are less visible items.

This has been driving me nuts with slides/values too, but even more so since the combo boxes took on the same scroll wheel/trackpad sensitivity!
