Navigating to a page that contains a Mapsui Control makes the app hang up (.NET 10, iOS)

Just upgraded my app to .NET 10 and found out that as soon as I navigate to a Mapsui page, the app just freezes. But not in a way that the iOS system kills it or notice the freeze, it just hangs.

This issue seems to be exclusive to .NET 10 and iOS. Tried UseGPU to false without any change. As soon as I remove the Mapsui component from the page, it loads just fine.

There is no output in the debug window either so not sure how to dig into this issue but it is a full blocker for my apps going .NET 10 even tho the performance improvements in .NET 10 would be nice. :/

Still investigating if this is not just some new "feature" from MAUI..

In this case always try to replace the Mapsui component with a normal Skia component. If you have the same iisues, ask in the SkiaSharp group. If not, then it is a Mapsui problem.

Which MAUI version? Which Mapsui version? Is it reproducible with the sample app?

I did some experiments with MAUI 10.0.20 and Mapsui 5.0.2 on iOS 26.2, and I don't see anything like this ...
